The field is not a homogeneous surface and therefore we need to identify the different environments that are generated in the field to give the crop exactly the amount of N it needs. Nitrogen fertilization is one of the most difficult variables to predict and is one of the most impactful on the producer’s economy.

The Wheat Fertilization module is a model developed by INTA and incorporated into Auravant. It allows diagnosing the nitrogen requirement of the crop and then generating a site-specific prescription, which makes it possible to maximize the efficiency of the use of the nutrient in each hectare, generating savings in supplies and less environmental impact.

The Nitrogen Fertilization module in corn, allows in a simple way to maximize the efficiency of the use of nitrogen in each hectare, generating savings in inputs and less environmental impact due to the use of fertilizers. This model, using sufficiency bands / sectors and satellite images, determines the doses of nitrogenous fertilizers per environment that the crop requires to reach a determined yield.
